This is the best product i have come across in a long time. I caught the flu (doctor verified) on wendsday night- felt better by friday. My girlfriend caught the same flu (didn't take zicam) and it lasted about a week. She was miserable. I felt fine. I spent 10.00 on zicam , she spent 15 on antivirus meds. The taste was a little bad but well worth it. The nose spay has some legal issues pending.. but the tab's are fine.

My sister, an elementary school teacher, recommended this product. I thought the tablets sounded better than the nasal mist or swabs, so I opted for these. I can't tell you if they work, because I only took two, actually not even two, because I had to spit the second one out. I thought they were the worst things ever! Plus, you're not supposed to drink or eat for 15 minutes after, so you can't get the taste out of your mouth. Very bitter. I now have the nasal mist, which seems better, and Airborne liquid, which I'm am hoping will help me fight the cold that everyone in my office seems to have!

I am a full time college student, so getting sick really leaves a dent in my schedule since it can be hard to make up work from missed class once you get behind mid-semester. I started to feel the standard im-gonna-get-sick-soon feeling (scratchy cold throat, stuffy nose). I started taking these every 3 hours as directed. I usually took thwe pill with a little water (even though the directions said you shouldnt) because they do leave a bitter taste, and it still worked fine for me. I definitly noticed that the cold was not only shorter in duration, but much less severe. I felt a little icky for only about half a day, but even that was not very severe. 2 days after I started taking it, I felt normal, but still took Zicam for 2 more days afterwards, as directed. Also, I noticed that Zicam does help with the symptoms of the cold (makes sore throat feel better, relieves sunus pressure).Since I discovered this product (year and a half now), I have only been sick once and I suspect that was flu related (the directions tell you it will not help for the flu). And again, I live in a dorm, so its hard to avoid sickness. Also, amazon has the lowest price I have seen for this product, so it is definetly a good buy. The only complaint I have is with the oral spray. I find it does not work nearly as well as the tablets for some reason. Bottom line: If you don't wanna be in bed for a few days with a nasty cold, get this product! Its well worth it! Saves you a possible trip to the doctors plus prescripition medication cost.
