This is a replacement to a previous Waterpik. In short, this Water Jet eaisly helps remove food sometimes imbedded between teeth at the gumline. It allows you to control the speed which is very important for those with sensitive or bleeding gums. Very easy to use. Just be careful you turn it off before removing the appliance from your mouth. It does spray the water rapidly and could end up on your bathroom mirror. Other than that, great product for helping maintain good gum and teeth maintenance.

I've had 3-4 of these things and they are very poorly made. The pump on each one has failed after 6-8 months. So, I suggest you go find another brand. That's what I'm going to do!

This model (70) has been out for many years... I have an old one at another sink I use often. I had a newer model (100), it did not last very long and never had the power this unit has. Each unit makes a lot of noise but has the most power to clean... I use it after each meal... the best way to keep your teeth healthy. Won't leave home without it.
