I'm only into Day 2 of using this product, but I love it already. I made the switch from regular gel only because I was hoping to integrate another natural product into my repertoire. I was half-expecting it not to work for me at all - my hair care experiments usually end in disappointment. Not this time! This stuff leaves my curls well-defined but softer than any other product I've used. No crispy, chunky sections - just soft curls that feel like I haven't used any product at all. These are the ringlets I've been looking for for years! I should note that I have fine, naturally curly hair, and I used the BWC leave-in conditioner as a base. (Before this, I'd been using the BWC leave-in along with my regular, supermarket-brand gel.) I was surprised that there isn't much of a smell to this product. There's a VERY faint gluey smell, but virtually undetectable and dissipates quickly. *** Update: I've been using this for a few months now and still love it. I do find I have to use kinda a lot of it, but I really like the results. (The "glue" smell was only the first bottle I bought - it had a different consistency from the other bottles, too, so I think that one had been on the shelf too long or something.)
