So when I was in high school I decided to take an Italian class at a community college. I was the youngest there. In the class there was a lady who worked for a company called Beatrice. Not sure if this company exists under its own or within another company. Anyway, she was a chemical biologist and she was saying how in their studies, aluminum in deodorant casued alzheimer's. I think this may be debunct now or not. In any case, at my fragile and impressionable age of 16 I stopped using the "commercial " deodorants and came upon Tom's of Maine. calendula would become my favorite. I am now 37 and have not stopped using it even when I lived in Europe. In fact, I introduced Tom's of Maine to new fans in Europe. Anywho, perhaps as my body makeup has changed, the "regular doedorant" just wasnt cutting it for me. Then I came across this long-lasting formula with zinc. WOW! It really works for a long time and does mask that unfresh smell. It works so well that I have stopped using cologne. I am free! and this product in my humble opinion is AWESOME.
