Pros & Cons :they are the products name for the little rubber circle that goes on the metal part, its very small, barely noticeable but it provides the important seal between the metal and the holder (thats my best guess anyway).

Pros & Cons :invest in the permanent one, the disposables advantage only lies in sparing the user the inconvenience of cleaning -which really isn't altogether difficult or time consuming.

Pros & Cons :like the other reviewer, i prefer the clear holder as the black one had caused me to have embarassing facial contortion when the tar overflowed unnoticed when smoking.
