I've tried powdered stevia and liquid stevia. Liquid is much easier to measure. Stevia is so sweet that you never need a full powder packet. As such you end up with half empty packets spilling onto your counter. I've tried the more "raw" versions of the liquid that are thick and brown. The extra processing of the clear versions seems to make it more palatable (less aftertaste). What I'm saying is that it seems the clear liquid versions of Stevia are the best. The Stevita brand tastes about the same as the "NuNaturals Pure Liquid Clear Stevia;" however, instead of dispensing in discrete, easy to measure drops, it has a tendency to dribble out in an immeasurable stream. It's like the opening is just a tad too large. You have to squeeze very lightly in order to get drops only. So I recommend you look at the NuNatruals instead only because the dropper works better. Also, avoid the ones that use a "medicine dropper" bulb type dispenser. Unless you have hands as steady as a surgeon, you're going to drip it down the sides of the bottle as you are removing and replacing the dropper.

This is a good liquid stevia option, not quite as concentrated as some others (such as sweet leaf's stevia clear), but it is less expensive. Plastic container is nice for traveling or carrying in a pouch/purse, as well as easy to get consistent number of drops from.

I have to throw my two cents in here to counteract the few negative reviews. If you get a bitter aftertaste YOU'RE USING TOO MUCH! I put 10 drops in my 16oz cups of tea. It doesn't taste bitter, it just tastes pleasantly sweet. I've given it to guests without telling them it's stevia and have never had anyone comment on any strange or bad taste, they only ask for more tea! It's also makes wonderful fresh lemonade. In a big pitcher I put the juice of 4-6 lemons (4 large, 6 average), 40 drops of Stevita and water. I occasionally thinly slice some fresh ginger and add it as well. Very refreshing. I serve our lemonade often and again, no guest has ever commented except to say it's "awesome" and to ask for more. I've tried other brands of stevia, and Stevita is absolutely the best. Other brands are not as picky about their growing and processing and it can result in a bitter aftertaste. But not Stevita. Plus, it's organic and is not genetically modified (Purevia and Truvia can't say that!).
