This is by far my favorite mouthwash I have ever used. Cayce's original recommendation was for a product called Glyco-Thymoline, but that has carmine in it (a red food coloring from beetles) and I wanted an animal free product. Lucky for me there is alka-thyme which is the same alkalizing formula minus the red coloring! It makes my mouth fresh, and soothes my gums, but it doesn't have that chemical aftertaste so many mouthwashes have. I have also used it as a soothing pack over my eyes when i have a bad headache. (just dampen a washcloth with it and lay across your forehead and closed eyes for soothing relief)
