I got this for myself because I like the liquid remedies and spray and thought this would be more portable. Well they're grapefruit of some other citrus flavor which I happen to be allergic to. There is no notation on the outside of any particular flavor. My throat got tight and I began to wheeze and nearly had to go to the ER. Kind of not what I had in mind for "stress relief".

In Venezuela we don't have this form, and it's very easy to use and you can hold it everywhere!

I suffer from panic attacks, and these rescue remedy pastilles have been a big help. When I am having a panic attack, or feel one coming on, I will take a Rescue Remedy. It just helps take the edge off and really helps me to be more in control of the panic attack. I have not noticed any laxative effect because I only ever take one a day at most. Problems probably occur when you take more than that (aka "excessive consumption"). I also bought the spray, but the taste was so disgusting, I've only used it the one time. I only plan on buying the pastilles in the future. I also believe that the sucking and chewing of the pastille helps to add to the over all calming effect.
