For the amount of protein and other nutritional contents, this bar is quite inexpensive. Most importantly it has a great taste. In fact, if you are not careful enough, like myself, you might find yourself eating more than one at a time. In my opinion, it tastes better than any fattening chocolate bar out there.

...which, to my mind, is the best-tasting Promax bar with the fewest grams of fat. It has a white 'chocolate' coating, little nibs of cookie-like pieces inside to make it more texturally interesting, and it actually tastes good! It doesn't have quite as chalky a flavor as a lot of the higher-protein bars that use soy as their protein source. The price is right, as other reviewers have mentioned, and most importantly to me, it holds the hunger at bay for a good two and a half to three hours, thus making it pretty effective as a meal replacement. I attribute that to the 20 g. of protein, but for some reason other bars boasting the same amount (Clif Builders in particular) don't seem to keep me full as long. I've just ordered the Black Forest and the Lemon and have no doubt that they'll be tasty too.

There arent that many tasty protein bars out there. But this one, at least in my opinion, is one of the best. They even have real cherries inside! Actually one bar and a cup of greek yougurt - is all I have for lunch and I feel great. Well... and a chocolate whey protein shake from BodyTech. Great post-workout refuel. I also like Lemon and Cookies and Cream flavors.
