Posture Brace

We experience this often around us. If you are over the age of 46, or even just sit for long hours at your desk every day or are on your feet all day at work, you tend to have a poor posture caused by bad posture habits. These bad habits tend to weaken core posture support muscles, leading the spine to become misaligned. One tends to experience neck pain, soreness and stiffness. Ensure that you just do not use the brace permanently and make sure that you are also doing posture corrective exercises to permanently strengthen your lower back.

Any type of support without exercise will not develop the muscles necessary to actually correct the root problem. In short, you need to use a two-sided approach to develop greater core posture support. Do the corrective posture exercises to develop the muscles necessary to hold your spine in its natural position. Additionally, use a posture brace to remind your body during the day what exactly that natural position is. A gentle reminder to straighten up every time you slouch in your posture is a great opportunity to strengthen your back and your core posture muscles.

Given the long-term benefits of maintaining a good posture, the effort is well worth it.
