This product is obviously meant to be used SPARINGLY. Once you realize that, it works great. I would recommend it only on the ends of your hair, not the whole thing. Think of it like a styling pomade more than conditioner.

I *love* Dr. Bronner's castile soaps and either use the lavender or the peppermint depending on my mood. I won't use anything else on my hair. I do use a drugstore brand conditioner that I like, but I only leave it in for 10 - 15 seconds...just a little to get some softness. I really hoped I would like Dr. Bronner's conditioner just as much, but alas, there was so much oil in it that even after a legnthy rinsing my hair felt greasy. Even after drying, my hair actually looked unwashed. I will continue to use the soap religiously, but I will pass on the conditioner.
