Each capsule provides 445 mg of Dr. John R. Christopher's Lower Bowel Formula, a herbal stimulant laxative. For relief of occasional constipation (irregularity), this product generally produces bowel movement in 6 to 12 hours. Adults and children 12 years of age and over: take 4 capsules at bedtime with a full 8 ounce glass of water, juice or other liquid. Children under 12 years of age: consult a doctor. Each capsule provides: 95 mg Aged cascara sagrada bark plus Barberry r oot bark, fennel seed, ginger root, golden seal root, lobelia herb, red raspberry leaves, turkey rhubarb root, cayenne pepper fruit.
