According to the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthly Pregnancy, too much Vitamin A can cause certain birth defects and it should not be supplemented more than 5,000 IUs. This prenatal vitamin contains 10,000 IUs. Be sure to consult with your doctor as to how much Vitamin A you should be taking before you use this vitamin supplement. Upon informing my doctor that I was taking this product, he imediately told me to stop using it because of its high Vitamin A content.

This is the only prenatal I've found that I can say I really love! Only two pills to swallow (they are big, but I'll take that over 6 smaller ones any day!). They are not metallic tasting like others I've tried. Highly recommend them.

These were fine for about a month and then they turned on me. I always took them with a meal but even that couldn't keep the pain away. They induced an agonizing, burning, acidic sensation in my stomach that wouldn't go away for hours and hours. The pills are gigantic, too.
