I've been using Spiru-tein off and on, mostly on, for about 20 years now, since about 1988. I found out about it from my girlfriend at the time, a health fanatic and bicycle racer. Compare its nutrients to other similar products on the market and I think you'll find it hard to beat. Plus, unlike a lot of it's competitors, it has a decent taste, or at least the chocolate does. A scoop of the chocolate with a cup of skim milk is only about 180 calories, but it's pretty filling and keeps me from getting hungry for several hours. At one point I used it as my daily breakfast during a period of about 4-5 months where I cut about 40 pounds that I had accumulated over the years. The only negative I have is that it's hard to mix. You DEFINATELY need a hand blender (I use a Braun), and wash the blender and glass immediately, it hardens like concrete when dry. Hope this review helps.

I love my Spirutein and am loving the ease of ordering my shake online, not to mention it is cheaper.

This product wins me over other protein mixes because it's packed with vitamins and minerals. And it tastes great to boot. It does require a blender, though. Mix it with a few ice cubes and some oj and you're good to go.
