I bought these after having RNY bypass surgery. I wanted something that tasted good and met all of my necessary vitamin requirements. I've been taking them since December '08, and so far all of my levels are good. I've tried other chewables, but just couldn't stomach the awful taste. If you like pineapple, I would suggest trying these. Also, Amazon's price was better than any other price I found on the internet or in a store.

I bought these for my husband who hates to swallow big pills. I tried one and the after taste is kindof weird, so don't eat them if you have nothing to wash it down with. My husband thinks they taste a little weird too, but he still eats one every day. I guess he thinks the funky taste is easier to deal with than swallowing pills.

I researched this vitamin and bought it for price. Vitamin Shoppe should offer sample paks, because you have to buy the whole thing to find out why you like/dislike a product. The immediate reaction to this vitamin was that my urine was always BRIGHT yellow - I went to the doctor b/c I thought I had some kind of disease. No, it was just the pineapple coloring! Within 2 months, my hair turned to straw and my nails grew brittle. So, when I finally figured out that it was this vitamin creating these issues - I switched to the grocery store brand version of Centrum. All is well now.
