one of reviewers stated that b3 causes gout. And it does what he forgot to tell you is its in doses of 500 mg or more. B3 in this amount is considered safe and effective treatment. Doctors prescribe up to 200 mg daily for those suffering from osteoarthritis. Its also used in 150 mg daily to treat migraines. Also large doses 100 mg to 1000 mg daily are known to lower LDL cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol, which is what you want.Niacin raises HDL cholesterol levels significantly more than the commonly used drug lovastatin. And all B vitamins and C vitamins are water-soluble not fat soluble. Meaning that what the body cant use its expelled through your urine. They're not stored in the body like fat soluble vitamins which are stored in the fat and liver and become toxic in large doses!!! such as vitamin e, vitamin k and vitamin a. A lot of people don't understand vitamins, which I assume is what happened to his friend or whatever that got sick from taking vitamins. You need to check and make sure with everything you're not in the toxic levels. On the plus side I used to terrible migraines from stress from college, after I started taking this I no longer get them.

I have used this product and many others from Nature Made over the past 10 years, and have always found their products excellent, however this is the first time I have purchased Nature Made online, and I was very well pleased with all aspects of the purchase and delivery.
