Although I didn't use this product for cramps, I did use it for two severe headaches. It worked quickly, even with the minimum dose. I'd definitely recommend it, and will be purchasing in the future. My only complaint was about the packaging. The blister packs are difficult to open -- I even had to take scissors to the packs. I much prefer bottles with childproof caps.

The product doesn't seem to have any greater benefits than the average over-the-counter ibuprofen product. I think I'll stick with the generic. It really didn't make much of a difference.

I used Midol Maximum Strength Cramp Formula Tablets for cramps and they worked quite well. It's ibuprofen, though, so I'm not sure I'd buy the Midol brand -- I might opt for a different brand or even a generic brand if it were cheaper. The only advantage the Midol brand might have is that your husband might be hesitant to take it. It relieved my cramps quite well, but any ibuprofen would do the same.
