Make sure to take this about 30 minutes before you go to bed. Sometimes it helps to make you go to bed, especially if you take in advance. This is very good at keeping you asleep though.

If you're a person who has serious problems sleeping....as myself...this is NOT the product for you. The first night I used the recommended dosage which is one; it didn't put me to sleep, didn't make me tired, not so much as a yawn. The next night I took 4 over the course of 3 hours-SAME THING! No sleep, no fatigue, NOTHING. I don't know what product yall are reviewing, but this did nothing for me.

The 5mg time-release melatonin seems to help me stay asleep longer than the regular tablets.
