I am recuperating from my third back surgery which requires me to be lying flat in bed for several hours a day and I wanted to be able to work on my laptop computer. This table has a good-sized working surface, fits all the way under the bed, and raises high enough so that I can tilt the table toward me and reach the keyboard. I added a rubber mat under my laptop to keep it in place and a small wood strip at the bottom to keep papers etc. from sliding off. It is solidly built and was very easy to put together. It has only one tilt angle in either direction. I had hoped for a few more tilt adjustments, but for me that's a very minor disadvantage. I researched bed tables extensively online looking for the features I wanted, and this table fulfills my needs.

This table worked great for holding a laptop and allowing me to do work while I had to be horizontal in bed... unfortunately, however, there really is no lip that will hold papers up when the table is tilted - it is possible to nail something on though.
