I have severe arthritis(autoimmune similar to RA) and my husband picked this up for me since I was having such a hard time getting around with the latest flare-up that affected my hip and knee. I knew right off the bat that it was a mistake. It's very unsteady and wobbly, dangerous to someone with balance issues like me.

I found the cane to be unstable compared to my standard wood cane. Going with a cane with more than one foot I probably should have selected one with a larger spread between each of the four feet. I do not recommend this cane.

Small enough at the bottom to be unobtrusive, but big enough to provide the extra stability my Mom needs. Especially useful when going up and down stairs. Recommended. Any negative: only came in box of 2 canes; really only needed one.
