Two different family members were unable to get into the shower because of physical problems that made it near impossible to get over the side of the tub. This bench took care of the problem and we SO appreciate it!! Sturdily made so even large people can have confidence that it will hold them. Well worth the price--we've bought two of them for different family members. Would buy again, too.

I am handicapped and taking a shower is both exhausting and scarey. I recently purchased a plastic transfer bench. This bench has made it much easier for me to get into the shower and it has enabled me to sit down while showering and washing my hair. Getting in and out of the shower is no longer frightening since I am able to sit down and slide my legs into the shower as opposed to trying to climb over the side. I am very pleased with this bench and the independence it gives me.
