Stopping and Smelling the Daisies

So Linda and I went to Macys the other day and played in the perfume section testing out all the different smells. Both of us were drawn to Marc Jacobs. We had tried Marc by Marc Jacobs but I found it too heavy for my taste. But we both became immediate fans of Marc Jacobs Daisy. Not only does it come in a pretty bottle with flowers on the cap but it's a perfect light and fresh scent for the spring. Marc Jacobs Intense is a darker bottle of Daisy. As I had read in a magazine and informed Linda, it's a bit heavier and is intended for going out at night. Body Spray vs. Perfume

The difference between body spray and perfume is the amount of extracts or essential oils used. Body spray has the least amount of extracts with a 1 to 3 percent extract concentration, which is less than perfume which has about 15 to 40 percent extracts. Having less extracts means the fragrance will not last as long, is less expensive and is lighter in scent than a perfume.
