As a college student/athlete, I'm constantly on the go. I'm busy with multiple assignments and on top of that, daily practices. This energy drink really gives me an extra boost whenever I'm in need of a little extra energy. I've noticed my ability to stay more focused during practice. I also have enough energy to get everything done in my busy schedule. It's a small drink, but this quick-to-drink product lasts for hours! I have taken it before games, and still felt energized afterwards. I highly recommend it! Lastly, my joints don't get as sore as fast as they used to. I've suffered multiple injuries in my athletic career, and they used to ache during play. Since taking Layfield Energy Plus No Pain, I feel ten times better and my performance on the court isn't hindered.

Let me get the one negative out of the way first. This energy shot tastes like day old puke. That is really the only thing wrong with it, but it's so vile, that's why it loses one star. Thank goodness it is only two ounces... otherwise I wouldn't be able to stomach it.Otherwise, I was shocked by the results. This morning, for example, I woke up feeling sluggish and with a bit of a headache. I took the shot, and before I even realized it, my headache was gone and I was feeling like I just slept about 12 hours. Consistently since I have started taking it, I've added about 10-20 lbs of weight, ten extra reps and two extra sets to all of my weightlifting routines, and I can consistently jog about twice as long as I used to. I still feel the burn... my arms, legs, and abs, especially, have a great burn going right now (after just working out hard for a half hour), but I don't necessarily feel "fatigue." I feel like I could keep going. There's not really a crash either. My only concern is the potential amount of caffeine. Since this is a pretty new product, I can't find the information of how much caffeine is actually in this. It seems that most of the energy comes from the 300 mcg of B12 though, which is great. I'm no expert, but from what I understand, your body just recycles the vitamin that you don't use. Typically, if I load up on Vitamin C the second I feel a cold coming on, the symptoms lessen. I've never felt ill effects from an excess of any vitamin.I haven't been doing too much excess in terms of my daily exercise routine, but as the days go by, I'm going to continue to push myself and see how far my body will go. I can't tell you how great it feels to wake up in the morning and feel the effects of exercise in my body. The sore muscles feel great. I can feel the results, and I love it. Before I started taking this shot, I could barely work out enough in order to actually feel the effects. Being able to consistently increase my workouts assures me that I'll start seeing results much sooner. So, if you're looking for a way to prolong your workouts, there's no reason why you shouldn't try this. If you can stomach the taste, there's nothing I've ever tried that is better.

This maybe the best shot that has hit the market. I am someone who has done sports in high school, currently trains in judo and hikes on a regular basis. Nagging leg injuries made it very hard to continue my workouts, but this stuff really does help. I used to use other energy shots which gave me the kick I needed, but obviously no help for the pain I felt. Now I can continue my workouts without having to cut them short or take multiple breaks. I highly recommend this product to anyone who feels like the only thing stopping them from working out is the physical pain it may cause them. This will probaly be the only shot I use ever again.
