These chewy granola bars taste amazing and are also pretty healthy. The ingredient list isn't too foreign, and there's a respectable amount of protein in them with just a few grams of sugar. The main competitors might taste slightly sweeter than this brand, but if you check the ingredient label you'll often find high fructose corn syrup near the top, while Kasi's bars have none. The honey almond flax flavor has a great, natural taste to it, but don't expect the honey to be the main flavor. It isn't very sweet, and tastes more like real food than a dessert. The peanut butter again has a more natural than processed flavor, which most come to prefer once their taste buds get adjusted. This bar doesn't really taste like peanut butter, but you can definitely taste the peanuts themselves. The trail mix bar is the sweetest of the 3 thanks to the dried fruits, and if you're wanting something to calm your sweet tooth it's definitely the one to go for.

This is too expensive for a wholesale pack. It costs about $.74 for a single bar. The last time I was at Walmart, they were selling it at $2.94 for a six pack. That comes to about $.49 for a single bar on a retail pack. This is a real rip off.

My husband and I discovered Kashi in 2004, and we have been loyal customers ever since. We love the Kashi Trail Mix Breakfast Bars. They are healthy, tasty and do not have a ton of sugar. They fit our lifestyle as well: healthy breakfast or snack on the go.
