This floss does feel softer in the hands. It is just as strong, doesn't shred and glides between teeth just as smoothly as original Glide. I could do without the mint flavor. I don't taste the flavor at all, but it makes the floss smell medicinal, not so pleasant. Usually, mint floss is refreshing, but not here. I would like this floss without flavor and will try Glide Comfort Plus Unflavored next time.

Wonderful floss - this is the best I've ever used. It started off with a 'free' sample and now I'm a regular user. Unlike other floss I have used, this one truly glides easily in/out of the tight spaces between my teeth, doesn't fray like other floss, and the 'wax' doesn't start scraping off in the beginning. Worth the extra few cents!

This "Comfort Plus" version does as good a cleaning job as the older version of the Glide Floss. However, the old Glide Floss has very sharp edges, which cuts into the gum and the ends of the mouth at times, causing some hygenie problems. But since I switched to Comfort Plus, I need not to worry about bleeding lips or gums anymore. It's very soft to the touch, and the mint flavor actually taste fresher than the mint of the older version.
