I am an African American with no perm and tight locks. This wax does wonders! My hair lies down as if it has a relaxer. When I apply in after shampooing, it loosens the curls and make my hair more manageable. I telling all of this one!

I started using Giovanni products when I received a free sample at a health food store. I can not say enough good things about them, especially this styling wax! I have tried many, and I mean many, others without finding one that does what this does. I like that it's a wax for molding my hairstyle but does not build up or give my hair a gummy texture. It washes out easily and creates incredible shine. It has a very light fragrance unlike so many "trendy" hair products and the price is great! I highly recommend this product or any Giovanni products.
