After using the shampoo, my hair felt "clumpy" and matted together. I have thick, curly hair so I always have to use a good conditioner to get out the tangles. Maybe it's because of my hair type, but my hair seemed much more tangled and "clumped"-together than normal after using this shampoo. The nearly-full bottle now resides in my medicine cabinet for guests or emergencies. I would have given this product only one star, but I liked the smell.

I love this shampoo, it leaves my hair feeling clean and soft. There are no harsh chemicals, so I feel comfortable using it on my highlighted hair.
