The Large Extra Absorbancy Depend performed well, as expected. The problem that caused me to order this online was a change in Depend sizing in the local stores. This size Large extra absorbancy was the right size for my husband, and we had been using it with good results for the past year. Depend recently changed their sizing criteria, and the new "MEN'S" sizing didn't follow the old. MEN'S L/XL Large, Extra Large was too large and leaked all around the edges. The absorbancy wasn't the same either. I returned the 2 packages that I had bought of the new size Depend MEN'S L/XL as performance unacceptable. We have since tried the Depend MEN'S S/M small /medium size, and this does work, but doesn't seem to have the same absorbancy. Hence we looked online for the original that was tried and true.

Depends are a good product I have used for elderly relatives many times. I was delighted when I found I could purchase them on Amazon and have them auto-shipped with a discount. The original order arrived on time but the second order never came. I checked my account and found no mention of repeat orders. The item is no longer carried by Amazon, but they never notified me. Now I have to go to the store and buy them or pay $12 for 3rd party shipping.

Depends are not as comfortable as poise. They also don't seem to absorb as much without leaks. Okay for folks that only need minor emergency coverage.
