This is another great Jason product. Organic and natural and much safer to use than most beauty products. I try to put it on every morning for the SPF value of it. It has a light but pleasant smell, goes on lightly and a little goes a long way. I use Jason Ester C cream at night. Works well!

Unlike the reviewer above, I did not find the cream to be hypoallergenic. Every time I wear it for a few days I break out in a fine rash. I have eliminated all over cosmetics as suspects. I also add the general comment that I posted for their eye creme (which doesn't make me break out): Anyone who buys from Jason, a company whose logo says "Pure, Natural & Organic", is doing so because they don't want to put on their skin the toxins found in most commercial skin care products. I really like the texture and feel of Jason products and I was happily using several of them when I received an email newsletter which said that Organic Consumers Association had recently tested 100 "Organic" or "Natural" products for contamination with 1,4 dioxane, a carcinogen that often results from the manufacturing process of PEG, polyethylene, Oxynol and ingredients ending with "eth". More than half of these "organic" products had 1,4 dioxane. Unfortunately, Jason is one of them. The ingredients list for Jason Red Elements Moisturizing Creme are better than most, which is why I didn't give them the poorest rating. There are no parabens or other known carcinogens, but they have fallen down by the inclusion of one ingredient, Ceteareth-20. While the FDA has never set a limit for 1,4 dioxane content and it's possible Ceteareth can be in a skin product without contamination, the fact that some Jason products are contaminated makes me suspicious that they lack the kind of quality control which would prevent it. You're better off using this cream than something from your local drug store or department store, but there are products out there that are clear of 1,4 dioxane. Look for 100% certified USDA organic products, because no certified organic products were found to be contaminated.

I bought this a couple months ago because I was in major need for a hypoallergenic moisturizer. My skin was dry and breaking out from the cold weather so this product came just in time. When used alone without any other product on my face, it cleared my skin from blemishes and added a healthy glow. It really brought back a good color to my dehydrated skin. Sometimes you need that oil to help your skin stay moisturized. I don't even need to wear makeup half the time because my skin looks so rich and healthy. I'm going to buy more for sure! I tried the night creme but that is very strong and caused irritation, this is light and blends nicely into your skin :) I highly recommend for dehydrated, easily irritated skin. Enjoy!!!
