Creams for dry and cracked hands

When it gets cold outside it can be a rough time for our skin, especially our hands. If your hands seem to always feel dry or cracked you might be asking yourself, “What should I do?” Most people turn to lotion, but if you’re dealing with severely cracked hands lotions can sting or burn. Some lotions can be a temporary fix and you may find yourself applying it several times throughout the hour. Here you can find the perfect cream for skin cracks that will work for you.
Hand creams and lotions to consider
Finding the right hand creams to aid in your dry or cracked hands can be a trial and error process. If your hands are severely cracked I recommend staying away from lotions with fragrance. Look for natural hand creams.

Washing your hands
It’s important when you’re dealing with cracked or bleeding skin that when you wash your hands you do so in lukewarm water. If the water is too hot you may burn or worsen the problem. If the water is too cold it will feel discomforting on dry spots. Use soaps with aloe additives and avoid soaps high fragrance.
Before you go to bed
Consider purchasing some powder less latex gloves. Before you go to bed apply some Vaseline, or any petroleum cream product, to your hands and then put the gloves on. This will act as an incubation period for your hands, allowing them to stay moist and heal for long periods of time.
Don’t forget your feet
