The description is misleading. I ordered this assuming 24 bars (pack of 2) was accurate however the invoice from the company only showed 12 bars (1 pack) and only received the 1 pack. The description of the product should be updated to accurately reflect the product's details.

I love Clif Bars (all flavors). I think they all taste good! I am however I little surprised at some of the prices on Amazon. It seems like most sellers list the bars at slightly over $1.00. I buy Clif Bars individually at Trader Joe's in New York where they are sold for $0.99. It might not seem like a big difference but a savings of 5 or 10 cents per bar adds up over the year if you are eating 1 or more Clif Bars every day. I'd recommend buying them at Trader Joe's and if you don't have a Trader Joe's in town then try to search some local stores. In short, Clif Bars are excellent and I recommend them to endurance athletes or those looking for a healthy and tasty way to curb hunger while losing weight.

I have been eating a variety of the offerings from Cliff Bar for about a year now. In general these are well balanced and good for use both as an afternoon snack and after a workout. Each has in the neighborhood of 10g of protein with a good balance of simple and complex carbs and fats. The ingredients are 70% organic. Even if you are not a health food nut, my experience is that organic products generally taste better than comparable non-organic. Unlike some other "engineered" foods in this category, you will not find any funny aftertastes. Here are my thoughts on the specific flavors that I've tried: Maple Nut (5 stars) - this one is the best of the bunch. I would describe it as having the consistency of a moist oatmeal cookie that tastes like pecan pie. Cool Mint (5 stars) - probably their second best offering. Think of it as being similar in taste to the Girl Scout Cookies Thin Mints but in a larger, soft cookie. Iced Gingerbread (4.5 stars) - this one is seasonal around Christmas (at least in my local stores). It is like a soft, chewy ginger snap cookie. Spiced Pumpkin Pie (4 stars) - this is another seasonal one. It's pretty good, but it takes a little getting used to the taste in the soft cookie consistency. Oatmeal Raisin Walnut (4 stars) - this one is very good. It's basically what you would expect. I like it, but it doesn't outshine the others above it. Blueberry Crisp (3.5 stars) - I get this one for variety sometimes, but it's not one of their best. I believe this one has almonds in it, and the nut/blueberry combination doesn't come off as good as raisin/walnut does. Black Cherry Almond (3 stars) - another one I get for variety if the stores are out of the others. Sometimes the cherry is a little too acidic. It's OK as an infrequent choice. Cranberry Apple Cherry (3 stars) - ditto to the comments on Black Cherry Almond. I think you should give these a try if you are looking for a healthy snack. If you could get your kids started on something like this instead of candy bars, they would be a lot better off.
