I had some spotting at 11 days past ovulation and mistook it as the beginning of my period. When two days had passed without further bleeding and with a raised temperature still, I took this test in the morning. After a few minutes, the Positive clearly showed up. It was really sweet to show it to my husband and not have to explain the test like I would have with a test with lines (this is our first child). After reading the reviews today, though, I started panicking and wondering if the test was wrong. I ran to the drugstore and bought a test with the two lines (First Response) and took the test in the afternoon. I got two lines on that test as well, so I know the first was correct. It's a horrible thing to think that you're pregnant and find out that you aren't, and these women all have my sympathy. However, I had a great experience with the test and find it very accurate (I used one last cycle and got a Not Pregnant a day before my period started, so it worked well both times.)

I took this test after being 5 days late and it read "Pregnant" so I showed the test to my husband and we were so excited! Since it was a 2 pack I took the other test the next morning and it said "Not Pregnant". I went to the doc the next day...not pregnant. My period ended up being 9 days late (very unusual, but whatever), and I got a negative test every day up until the day I got my period, using different brands. Needless to say, I will not be using ClearBlue Easy ever again.

I have never written a review for anything on the internet, but felt compelled to say that I received a false positive with the digital Clearblue pregnancy test. I have never heard of false positives with HPTs until it happened to me. I called the company, and they said that it's extremely rare unless you're taking fertility medications (which I never have). Very heartbreaking and frustrating that a 99% accurate digital test produces a false positive - I understand false negatives and pregnancy tests, but I am really upset about a false positive. I would not use this product again.
