Burt's Bees - Lip Shimmer In Nutmeg, .11 oz sticks is one color choice in Burt's Bee's lip shimmer line. The perfect shade for all but true blonde haired beauties looking for a fall lip color with a bit of a 'tingle'. Similar to other company's lip color products that plump the lips, the lip shimmers tingle a bit while adding moisturizing color. They do tend to clump like other Burt's Bee's lip products, but the nice part is that it easily smoothes out by rubbing your lips together. Lip shimmer color isn't the longest lasting color, nor is it particularly 'shimmery' or glossy, but it's certainly a safe, natural alternative to main stream cosmetic lines and is good for your lips too.

My problem with normal lip gloss is the heavy feeling of goo on my lips. It feels less like something to make me attractive and more like something to draw flies to their death, getting hopelessly stuck in the goo. This gloss is different. It is light but shiny, it is sparkly but not glittery. I am a matte lipstick person, so this was a new look for me. I like the transparent colors and same Burts Bees protection that I have come to love.

The color is very nice, and I'm very sure of the other shades as well. Color and shimmer is not too overpowering. With its minty tingly feeling and small size, it sure became one of my must-haves. I gave it 4 stars because it's not exactly long-wearing but it doesn't come off easily.
