This cleanser is formulated for oily skin. It doesn't produce suds. It feels like the Noxzema cream that I tried many years ago. It produces a tingly/menthol type feeling. I often wonder if I have a layer of something on my face after I use it, but it does seem to get rid of the oil. I haven't tried the recommended toner, perhaps that would help. I have found it mediocre on waterproof mascara.

love to use this one in the shower for face/neck. it's refreshing and extremely cleansing - prepares skin very well for any skin care products (day or night time). my favorite skin care products besides this are Zia Ultimate line
