here goes anyway. The reason why I give this five stars is based soley on the fact that Dr. N.V. Perricone recommends the AstaReal label as a source of genuine Lab tested quality. With all the product labels out there claiming all kinds of ingredients with no government oversite it is hard to determine who has legitimate products. Well Dr. Perricone's weight management system works for me and I'm not crazy about anything that smacks of holistic medicine, but I have no other explaination for the weight loss. I have tried everything that makes sense including vigorous exercise and Nutrisystem and have only lost 30 lbs. with them. So I decided to combine the good Dr's plan with Nutrisystem and am finally becoming a "big loser" so I am giving this product five stars as well as the rest of his program!

This product is recommended by my Doctor N.V. Perricone as an essential part of the weight management program. I've tried a lot of such programs that didn't work - but this one DOES! And since he recommends it; I do too. There are a lot of extracts, supplements, and health food/herbs out there on the market, and who knows if the ingredients are genuine, let alone if they work?! At least with Astivita you know that the product has the AstaREAL® label, and you know it is the genuine thing!
