I've suffered from motion sickness as far back as I can remember. For years I have taken ginger root capsules before any trip longer than 20 min if someone else is driving. I saw these in a pharmacy last year (it seems they are no longer available locally) and decided to give them a try. They work for me. Also, my younger child suffers from motion sickness. He can't swallow capsules yet, but this gum works for him. It does have a strong, spicy flavor, (having some water at hand helps) but it goes away in a few minutes of chewing. My son asks for it because it works.

My wife used this on her sea voyage to Antactica, while crossing the infamous Drake Passage. She wasn't sea sick!

I recently tried this ginger gum for nausea, which I unfortunately have most of the time, due to anxiety that never leaves me. So I tried this and yes initially it is very strong tasting, but than the taste subsides but it works quite well. This is my first week of trying it and I like the results. I would recommend it if you are sick to your stomach alot.
