Not only did I have a hard time swallowing these vitamins (they are huge and taste bad, and are hard on the stomach), I had a hard time swallowing the price. I recommend that you buy the powder form, or go with a specific multivitamin that is made for you. Although I'm not a health professional, I'm basing this on the price of these vitamins vs. the benefit, as well as how well they are targeted for what each person needs. Personally, I find that if I take a men's multivitimin such as Every Man's Once Daily, I feel better than if I take the Alive Energizer. They cost about half as much, too, and you only take one per day. Of course, different manufacturers also make multivitimins for Women, Teens, over 40's, over 50's, etc., so in my opinion, you should always buy the one works best for you. If it is this, and you can swallow it, then don't be discouraged by my review, mind you. But for me, they are only O.K. If I'm right (it's been a while) you need to take 2-3 of these per day. Yech. The taste is rather bad, and you run out quickly, even if there are 180 of them. Expensive. Overhyped.

These were recommended to me by Whole Foods Market. They provide the proper vitamins without all the additives and fillers. You will feel great after taking them. It takes about two weeks to feel the results

I didn't think I had to pay very close attention to whether or not I was ordering vegitabs (?) or vegcaps. I thought this was a good deal that turned out to be not as good as it seemed. Vegcaps are the clear capsules with powder inside. The amount you are supposed to take is 6 at a time. So, you are actually getting half the amount of servings than you get with vegitabs (that you are supposed to take 3 of). I don't have the time or interest to take 6 big vitamins every day, so I only take 2. Since these have way more than the 100% rda, I think I'm good with 2.
